Now that fall has crept in and days are shorter, I’ve been trying to look for some quick and easy breakfasts for my family and me. The lazy summer mornings are gone. Last week, I was toying with different smoothie recipes. I saw some coconuts and almond smoothies – and I thought of making overnight oats with these ingredients.
Being a mom, I’m a fan of overnight oats. However, I know that I need to be a little creative when it comes to enticing my kids to eat healthy food. So, I created this cholate-y delight. Cocoa is the perfect ingredient. It’s also quite healthy. It’s packed with antioxidants and nutrients.
This overnight oat is a well-balanced breakfast, and it’s perfect for busy parents and kids. It has all the fats and protein you’ll need to fill up for a busy day. It’ll keep you full until lunchtime.
