Are you thinking of back-to-school lunches? Do you have all of your Lunch Box Essentials? Packing healthy lunches takes time and planning. You also need to make sure that your kids will like it. Just because you pack it, doesn’t mean your kids will eat it. However, this doesn’t mean that you should fill your kids’ lunchboxes with pizza and cookies!
You need to give your kids delicious but healthy food options, and then let them decide what they would like you to pack. This empowers them. You gave them the choice, and it becomes their responsibility to eat what they chose.
Make sure that their choices are both healthy and delicious – and if you have a little more time, make their packed food fun for them! Use cookie cutters to cut the shapes of cheese or meat. Use fun kid skewers for their kebabs. There are so many things that you can do to make your kids’ back-to-school lunches a whole lot more fun!
